The variable speed dial runs from about 260 CFM up to 400 before you hit the turbo button for the full output. That range covers everything from a gentle porch sweep to blasting packed wet leaves out of a corner.
EGO also sells this as a kit with a 2.5Ah battery and charger if you are starting fresh on the platform. The bare tool is the right choice for anyone already running EGO gear.

Airspeed at 110 MPH is respectable for a cordless handheld but still trails gas blowers and EGO’s larger 650 and 765 models. If you deal with heavy wet piles regularly or have a big property, those higher-tier units deliver more velocity and you notice the difference.
For someone new to the EGO platform, the battery cost is the real entry barrier. The bare tool is well priced, but a battery and charger can push the total toward the kit price, which runs more than someone coming from the corded world might expect.

It is less ideal for anyone with a large property dealing with constant heavy wet debris. If that is your situation, the 650 or 765 class EGO models or a gas backpack blower will save you time and frustration.
